VALSESIA’S cuisine has its roots in the traditions of the mountain, some come to this day almost unchanged. The Sesia Valley area in particular offers delicious food typical of the alpi mountains influence, can be enjoyed during the holidays but also many local products to buy when you back to home, without giving a little traditional flavors. You can start from the traditional Uberlekke (mixed boiled meats, seasoned with potatoes, carrots and laurel leaves), typical Walser dish, or Miaccia (type of Valsesian traditional cracks), then the famous “salame” and the splendid tome (alpine ripe cheese) but also “polenta” with deer meet, sprayed by the great red wines Gattinara or Boca.
